What do we need to know for our play session at Little Farm Friends ...

We are looking forward to welcoming you to little farm friends, you might have a few questions before attending so hopefully this page will help to answer them ! We don't cancel sessions in any weather unless there is a risk to life from the met office, so this is a yellow, amber or red warning ! So please come prepared to enjoy your time with us !

What should we wear to our play session ?

Always wear clothes that are old and you don't mind your child getting dirty, wet and maybe even stained. We provide resources that are child appropriate but we cant promise that mud/paint/messy play may stain your child's clothing.

In winter months we recommend a puddle suit/all in one that will keep your child warm and dry, especially if its cold/ wet lots of layers are important and waterproof.

Footwear we would suggest is wellies, in summer months you can get away with just trainers but please keep in mind your child may get wet feet from water play or mud kitchen .

There may be a opportunity where a staff member may give you a chance to meet one of them up close and sometimes you can help feed them.

Can we feed the animals ?

we have basic facilities on site.

A porta loo with potty and changing matt located in the car park area (please take dirty nappies home with you )

We provide one rubbish bin on site, if you don't put it in the bin please take your rubbish with you. Bin is located by the top garden gate.

We have a take out kitchen on site you have to leave our top garden and cross our farm drive.

The kitchen provides hot drinks, cold drinks, cakes and ice-creams in the summer. If we have a special weekend session the kitchen may also provide sausage rolls an scotch eggs.

Yes !

We have recently invested in a summer house which is great on a wet or chilly day and you need to take a step inside to warm up, take a break or enjoy a inside actvity. Our summerhouse is full of actvities and resources for you and your child to enjoy. We are also developing a soft matt area for the tiniest little farm friends to explore .

Do you have any shelter ?
